Te Aomarama (“Place of Light”) is at the head of the Waitaki Valley 30km south Mt Cook and Twizel, South Island of New Zealand.
Omarama sits at the junction of SH8 and SH83. Hot Tubs Omarama is easy to find at the north western side of Omarama on the Twizel/ Omarama Rd, SH 8 (opposite the Wrinkly Rams Café). We are within walking distance to all Omarama accommodation.

Bus Schedules
Omarama is on the main Christchurch - Queenstown bus route. There are several services per day, depending on the time of year.
These all operate from the City Centre in Christchurch which is about 25 minutes from the airport.
The journey time is between 5 and 6 hours depending on stopovers.
The bus should always be pre-booked, as seating is limited.
